Our Electrical contracting business specialises in commercial contracting works, from high end commercial interior fit outs and construction projects, multi-level refurbishments to industrial fitouts. Key customers include State and Local Government departments, as well as industrial and commercial builders in the private sector. We are now seeking trade qualified and experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our handpicked team and assist in the onsite delivery of our high end projects. If successful, the opportunity includes working alongside some of the industries leading managers and your career growth guided for a long term working relationship.
About You
You will have proven ability of providing exceptional customer service, delivering projects on time and on budget, whilst ensuring the highest safety and quality standards are maintained.
Your duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Lead and manage the delivery of projects ensuring delivery is on-time, within scope and on-budget
- Provide onsite leadership and day to day management of site teams
- Lead all safety, quality and environmental initiatives ensuring operational activities are conducted in compliance with WHS, QA & Environmental legislation and the Group’s policies
To be successful in this role you should be highly motivated with the following:
- A minimum of 4 years post trade experience
- Current QLD Electrical Workers Licence
- Open Cabling Licence with endorsements
- Current CPR/LVR certification
- Proven success in running commercial electrical projects such as commercial refurbishments, fit outs and high-end shop fitting
- Experience in leading a team to deliver successful outcomes & creating a positive work environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with project managers, site staff and key stakeholders
- Strong knowledge and technical experience in structured cabling systems including both fibre and copper networks
- Experience and understanding of programmable lighting control systems. Dynalite, C-Bus, KNX, Zen Control etc.
- Ability to read and interpret plans
- Strong knowledge of electrical regulations, by-laws and codes
- Strong work ethic with high safety and quality work standards
- Critical thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Flexibility to work additional hours as required
- Current Construction Industry White Card
- Current QLD Open C Class Driver Licence
